In 2007, the Siena College Research Institute interviewed business leaders from across Upstate New York in order to measure their economic confidence and expectations for the coming year for the first time. These CEO’s of for-profit companies with annual sales from $5 million to $200 million have accurately predicted the ups, downs and ‘holding evens’ we have experience over the past decade, and in so doing, they have provided all business people with invaluable insights into New York’s business environment.
