The Data Analytics Internship at SCRI provides aspiring analysts with hands-on experience in survey data analysis, visualization, and reporting. Interns receive training on industry-standard tools and work on impactful projects like voter trend analysis and dashboard creation, developing essential technical and professional skills. This program bridges classroom learning with real-world application, preparing interns for careers in data analytics.
The Management Internship at SCRI offers practical experience in strategy planning, human resources, and project coordination. Interns learn about strategy alignment and team management while helping to onboard the student call center team. Interns in this position gain organizational, leadership, and communication skills as they get ready for jobs in management.
The Marketing Internship at SCRI offers experience in brand management through social media and visual communication. Interns manage SCRI’s social media accounts, like Instagram, and create engaging content, posters, and presentations to communicate data insights. This role develops skills in digital marketing, graphic design, and communication, preparing interns for marketing careers.

Where Are They Now?
Our interns at SCRI acquire invaluable practical experience that helps shape their future professions. In her sophomore year, Bianca Prinsloo, Class of ’22, began working with us as an intern in data science. Andrea Cianfarani, Class of ’22, collaborated with us in her senior year, while Travis Brodbeck, Class of ’17 undergrad and ’18 graduate, contributed to SCRI throughout his undergraduate and graduate careers. Travis and Andrea are now essential, long-term members of the SCRI team who keep adding creativity and knowledge to our work.

Travis Brodbeck, who started as an intern in February 2017 and is now the Associate Director of Data Management at SCRI, is an outstanding example of professional advancement. Travis gained essential skills and experience working on national assessments and drafting reports for government agencies. His experience serves as an example of how SCRI interns can develop and make a big impact.
